The Ice Jets Hockey Association began operation in 2002 built on a foundation of exceptional coaching and exceptional training. The association has enjoyed tremendous success winning multiple AAA and AA tournaments, State Championships, Rocky Mountain District Championships and still the only hockey association in Texas and the RMD to ever win a Tier 1 National Championship. In addition to winning, we are most proud of having developed and helping advance numerous players to Junior and College hockey. Our strong history of successful training, development and player advancement has now progressed and taken another step forward in developing the Ice Jets Academy.
Ice Jets hockey directors Paul Taylor and Karson Kaebel founded the Ice Jets Academy to address the needs of serious student-athletes who are seeking a place to take their hockey game “to the next level” while enjoying an exemplary education.
Today’s hockey players struggle to receive enough hours of ice time and quality coaching to reach the higher levels of hockey. There simply are not enough hours in the day for athletes to train and develop within a traditional public school/athletic system,” said Director Paul Taylor. “A new system of training is needed for serious athletes who want to combine the necessity of a quality education with their passion for hockey.”
