Ice Jets Academy

The Ice Jets Academy (IJA) is a premier hockey preparatory school, offering student-athletes ages 12-18 an opportunity to develop a strong academic and athletic foundation. IJA was founded on the belief that students can achieve remarkable excellence as scholars, athletes and people when given the opportunity and resources. IJA combines the best classroom and sport instruction for players and believes that excellence in academics and athletics can and should go hand-in hand.

We invite parents and players interested in an informative tour of iSchool High to reserve a spot by sending an email to Paul Taylor at icejetshockey@gmail.com

" ... as good as it gets"

Blatherwick_and_caps_logo_medium

“Ice Jets coaches are so passionate about what they do, this is sure to rub off on each player. Nothing is more important than passion if young athletes want to perform at the highest levels possible. A second feature of the Ice Jets staff is knowledge of hockey and the best way to train on-ice and off. Finally, for athletes to reach their potential, passion and knowledge must be supported with a consistent work ethic in a fun environment. As athletes themselves, the Ice Jets coaches lived by these principles and upcoming players are fortunate to develop under their guidance. It is as good as it gets anywhere in the world.”

- Dr. Jack Blatherwick, renowned physiologist and coach with the 1980 USA Olympic gold medal-winning team. Dr. Blatherwick is currently a coaching consultant with the Washington Capitals.
