Parents and players worked some long hours to make sure all the locker rooms were completed before school started. Be sure and thank these parents and players when you see them for all their hard work.
Thank you Ice Jets families!
Our heartfelt appreciation to Allison Box, Hope Plott and the Ice Jets volunteers who contributed to the tremendous success of the annual Ice Jets Golf Tournament and Banquet. More than 400 people attended the event February 27 at Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch.
Many thanks to photographer Clint Brock.
The Ice Jets Hockey Association kicked off the 2009-2010 season September 20 with 400+ people in attendance at IceFest 2009, an annual festival with mites game, U16
The IJHA provided an opportunity for families to donate outgrown and unused hockey equipment and allowed anyone in attendance to take whatever they needed. Kids associated with the Ice Jets and those with other organizations were able to benefit from the donated hockey gear.
A great time was had by all!
Each team is responsible for one “Don’t Mess with Jets” day during the season.
Players (parents welcome, too) will disinfect training equipment, clean and sweep the Hangar and weight rooms and double-check locker rooms to see if any cleaning is needed in addition to usual maintenance.
