Coach Paul Taylor is a native of Vancouver, Canada. He is a co-founder of the Ice Jets, which began in 2002 and shares the responsibility of Hockey Director for the program. Paul has been instrumental in helping design and implement the on and off-ice training curriculum for the Ice Jets at all levels. In Canada, he helped develop training protocols for numerous hockey groups and was appointed Head Instructor for an elite group of local hockey schools. Paul has also worked with coaches in a scouting capacity for the BCHL (British Columbia Hockey League).
Paul has been a student of the game for the past 29 years in both a playing and coaching capacity. He played his entire youth hockey at the AAA level. He was a two time All Star while playing Junior Hockey in Canada in the BCHL. While playing Junior A, Paul received a hockey scholarship to Northern Michigan University where he was honored with receiving the 'Freshman Of The Year' award. He went on to play professionally for seven years in the US, Canada and Europe.

Paul enters his 9th year of coaching in Dallas. During those years he has helped his teams win various AAA/AA tournaments and help establish the Ice Jets into a nationally respected organization. In addition, Paul has helped numerous players advance to Junior and College as he currently has over 20 players he coached from the Ice Jets program playing in the USHL, NAHL, WHL and College.
